What Happens When I Submit a Meeting Request?
Have you ever wondered what transpires once you click that “Submit” button on a meeting request? You might be surprised to learn that a multitude of activities occur behind the scenes, diligently working to ensure your request receives the attention it deserves.
How it Works
While it may seem like a simple action on your end, the process that follows is far from straightforward. From the moment you submit your meeting request, an intricate web of tasks is set into motion, meticulously orchestrated to provide your request with the consideration it requires.
Day 1:
- The Business Influencer is notified via email of your meeting request and donation offer.
- The Business Influencer is prompted to go to their dashboard, review the meeting request, and accept or decline.
- If it’s the Business Influencer’s first meeting request on the platform, they receive a phone call from our team to assist them.
Day 7:
- The Business Influencer receives another email notification from Influence Board to review and take action on your meeting request.
- You receive an updated email.
Day 14:
- The Business Influencer receives another email notification from Influence Board to review and take action on your meeting request.
- You receive an updated email.
Day 21:
- If no action has been taken by day 21, the Business Influencer is contacted by email, call, or text from our team to identify the cause of the delay.
- Possible reasons for the delay are investigated and addressed.
- Profile information is updated if necessary.
- The meeting request may be withdrawn.
- You receive an update email.
Day 28:
- The Business Influencer receives a notification that they need to act on the meeting request or it will expire, resulting in the loss of the donation offer.
- You are notified that you can choose to withdraw the meeting request or wait longer.
Day 35:
- The Business Influencer receives a final notification to act on the meeting request or it will expire, resulting in the loss of the donation offer.
Day 45:
- The meeting request expires and is withdrawn by the admin team.
- You are notified that the meeting request has been withdrawn.
